Paid Media Expert

You'll own paid acquisition across our portfolio of consumer AI apps — end to end. That means strategy, creative production, funnel design, campaign execution, and reporting. We're looking for someone who thinks in systems and takes full ownership of the workflow, not just the ad manager.

About this position

This is a remote position. You won't just manage ad accounts — you'll own the entire paid acquisition workflow: from ideating and producing creatives, to building conversion funnels, to scaling campaigns profitably across channels. We want one person who can see the full picture and execute across all of it.

What you'll do

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end paid acquisition strategy and execution across Meta, Google, and emerging channels for our app portfolio.
  • Produce and direct ad creatives — video ads, static, carousels, and UGC-style content — with a performance-first mindset. You can concept, brief, and where needed, create assets yourself.
  • Design and build conversion funnels: from ad click through to landing page, onboarding, and first purchase. You own the full path, not just the top of the funnel.
  • Manage and optimise daily ad spend, hitting CPI, CPA, and ROAS targets while scaling volume profitably.
  • Build a structured creative testing framework — define hypotheses, launch experiments, and document learnings in a system the whole team benefits from.
  • Develop audience segmentation and retargeting strategies that move users through the funnel from install to paying subscriber.
  • Scout and pilot new channels and ad formats before the competition discovers them.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reporting with clear summaries: what we spent, what we got, and what we're changing.
What you bring

Requirements & Skills

  • 1+ year managing paid media budgets across Meta Ads and Google Ads, with verifiable ROAS and CPA results.
  • Hands-on experience producing ad creatives — you can put together a compelling video or static ad, not just brief someone else to do it.
  • Experience designing and optimising conversion funnels: landing pages, onboarding flows, and checkout sequences that drive measurable lift.
  • Deep understanding of Meta's campaign architecture — Advantage+ Shopping, Advantage+ Audience, ABO vs CBO, and how to structure accounts for algorithmic learning.
  • Strong Google Ads proficiency: Performance Max, Search, App campaigns, and Smart Bidding strategies.
  • Experience with mobile measurement partners (Appsflyer, Adjust, or similar) and a firm grasp of attribution modelling in a post-iOS-14 environment.
  • Analytical rigour: comfortable building performance dashboards in Looker Studio or Google Sheets and drawing actionable insight from noisy data.
Strong plus
  • Background in subscription consumer apps, and familiarity with LTV modelling and payback period optimisation.
  • Experience or understanding of the latest creative trends and strategies in paid acquisition.
