Introduction
Your privacy matters to us. It is PhotoAI Group's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while you visit or interact with this website ("the Site"). This Privacy Policy applies to the photoai.group website and describes what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Throughout this document, "we", "us", "our", and "PhotoAI Group" refer to the company that operates this Site.
By using the Site you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or share information with us through it.
Information we collect
Log data
Like most websites, we collect non-personally-identifying information of the kind that web browsers and servers typically make available — such as browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. We use this information to better understand how visitors use the Site and to improve it.
Contact form data
When you fill in the contact form on our Site, we collect the information you voluntarily provide — typically your name, your email address, and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to you about the subject of your inquiry.
Candidate & applicant data
If you contact us about an open role — through the role cards on our Careers section or by emailing us — we will collect the information you choose to share (for example your name, email address, CV/resume, links to your portfolio or profiles, and the contents of your message).
Our promise to candidates. We will never use the email address or any other information you share when applying or expressing interest in a role at PhotoAI Group to send you marketing or promotional messages, to add you to any newsletter, or to contact you about anything other than the role you applied for or a future role you might be a fit for. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your data with third parties for marketing, advertising, data-brokering, or any commercial purpose.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect only for these purposes:
- To respond to your inquiry, message, or job application.
- To evaluate your candidacy for the role you have applied for, and (if you have indicated openness to it) to keep your details on file for future relevant opportunities.
- To understand how the Site is used and to improve its content, performance, and security.
- To comply with legal obligations, defend our rights, or prevent fraud or abuse.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not run ad networks or third-party trackers that would target you across the web.
Cookies
A cookie is a small string of data that a website stores on a visitor's device and that the visitor's browser sends back to the site on subsequent visits. We use a small number of cookies to help us understand how visitors use the Site and to remember basic preferences.
You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Some parts of the Site may not function as intended if you disable cookies.
How we store and protect your information
We treat the security of your personal information with care. We use commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it — including encryption in transit, access controls, and the principle of least privilege. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy, after which we delete or anonymise it. Candidate data is retained for a reasonable period to allow us to consider you for future opportunities, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
We don't sell your data. Ever.
PhotoAI Group does not — and will not — sell, rent, trade, or commercially share your personal information with anyone. We only share information with third parties in the limited situations below:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site or our hiring pipeline (for example email hosting, applicant tracking, or analytics) — and only to the extent strictly necessary to perform that service, under contracts that require them to protect your information.
- Legal compliance, if we are required to do so by applicable law, court order, or other legitimate legal process.
- Corporate transactions, such as a merger, acquisition, or reorganisation — in which case we will require any successor to honour the commitments made in this Policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under data-protection laws such as the EU GDPR or the UK GDPR — including the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to data portability.
To exercise any of these rights, please email us at the address below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Links to external sites
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites that we do not operate. If you click on a third-party link, you will be taken to that party's site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing any information with them.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Most changes will be minor. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
